Non-Executive Director

Amanda is an Economist, Fund Manager, and Transaction Advisor with experience working in various emerging markets. She has experience structuring complex transactions and providing cross-cutting advisory services to increase productivity and competitiveness of organizations.

She founded Bethel Advisors, a leading advisory firm, to democratize access to growth capital for local businesses, and women. Her advisory portfolio includes the UK Government, the World Bank, the Government of Uganda, private equity and debt funds, and regional Development Finance Institutions. She previously worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Uganda and South Africa and started her career as an analyst at Deloitte East Africa.

She serves in Non-Executive Director roles in the financial services industry including on investment committees allocating alternative capital across Africa. She also serves as Chairperson for the East Africa Private Equity and Venture Capital Association in Uganda.

Amanda holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University and certifications in governance, business analysis and project management.
