A seasoned technology leader with a proven track record in driving digital transformation and operational excellence, Musa Musazi brings a wealth of experience to dfcu Bank, having served as the Group Chief Technology Officer for CSquared Group, where he oversaw technology strategy, implementation, and operations across six African countries. Before that, he held senior technology roles at MTN Uganda, Warid Telecom and CelTel Uganda, gaining extensive experience in network design, operations, and project management.
As a Chartered Engineer (CEng), a member of the Institution of Engineering & Technology (MIET), and a Registered Engineer (REng) in Uganda, Musa possesses a strong technical foundation. His certifications as a Google Cloud Leader and Project Management Professional (PMP) further demonstrate his expertise in cloud technologies and project management.
Musa’s career highlights include:
- Pioneering open access shared ICT infrastructure platforms in Uganda, which were later adopted by six African countries.
- Leading the planning department for Warid Network, a major telecommunications provider.
- Serving on the Board of Trustees for Ubuntunet Alliance, a leading organization in Eastern and Southern Africa promoting ICT for Research and Education.
- Completing the CEO Apprenticeship Program at Strathmore Business School and CEO Summit Uganda, enhancing his leadership skills.
